Job description

Rochester Sports Center is looking for an Office Assistant to assist owner and staff keep its office running smoothly and professionally on a daily basis. This is an entry level position but a great opportunity for someone who can learn to manage details, stay ahead of priorities, and create great experience for customers, vendors, and the team.

What You'll Do

  • Assist owner run daily office operations smoothly
  • Answer phone calls from customers, respond to emails, greet visitors, and handle general inquiries
  • Learn invoicing, payments, and basic bookkeeping support
  • Work with owner process orders, maintain records, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Help owner keep office and showroom organized, efficient, and customer-ready at all times
  • Support owner with administrative tasks and day-to-day coordination

What We Need

  • Some experience in office environment, administration, or customer service is preferred
  • Good communication skills and a professional, friendly presence
  • Organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus
