Job Description 

We're looking for a detail-oriented Front Office Staff member to join our OB team. In this role, you'll perform specialized medical secretarial and scheduling duties that help ensure patients receive timely, coordinated care. You'll assist with patient admissions, appointment scheduling, front office operations, and administrative support while working closely with providers and clinical staff. We value excellent customer service, organization, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform specialized medical secretarial duties to support clinic operations. 

  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient admissions. 

  • Provide administrative support for patient care and treatment activities. 

  • Perform cashier responsibilities and handle basic financial transactions. 

  • Complete general clerical and computer-based office duties. 

  • Support additional front office and clinic functions as assigned. 

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with providers, clinical staff, and fellow team members to support efficient clinic operations and deliver outstanding service to patients. Success in this role requires strong communication, teamwork, organization, and a commitment to Service Excellence. 

Qualifications 

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required. 

  • Knowledge of office organization and basic clerical skills required, preferably obtained in an outpatient medical clinic or office. 

  • Cashier experience and proficiency in basic math. 

  • Basic typing skills. 

  • General computer experience. 

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with deadlines and work well under pressure. 

  • Ability to read, understand, write, and communicate effectively in the English language. 

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers.
