Work Environment

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allied Comfort Counseling, you will work in a fully remote setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential services to clients from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes, ensuring immediate care and safety for clients in distress.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and enhance treatment efficacy.
  • Document clinical notes, treatment progress, and session summaries accurately in our EHR system, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active LMFT license in California is essential to practice in this role.

  • Proficiency in diverse therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings is strongly preferred.
