Allied Comfort Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative mental health team. • Conduct engaging individual, couple, and family therapy sessions applying evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific mental health needs of clients, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes, assessing clients' conditions and formulating appropriate responses.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care during treatment cases.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and case notes using electronic health record (EHR) systems, supporting compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and essential relationship skills to empower them in managing their mental health effectively.
• Uphold a commitment to ethical therapy practices and ensure adherence to industry standards in all interactions.

You will work with a varied clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, who may be experiencing a spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. The outpatient focus allows you to foster long-term therapeutic relationships with clients, guiding them through their journeys toward improved mental health.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active LMFT license in California is essential for this role.
• Proven experience of 2 or more years in mental health settings, preferably outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environments.
• Strong proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to facilitate meaningful relationships with clients and team members are crucial.
• Demonstrated ability in clinical assessment and intervention to evaluate, diagnose, and implement effective treatment strategies.

• Experience using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation practices is beneficial.
• Background in providing therapy for diverse populations and varied presenting issues will enhance your candidacy.
