The Prototype Project Coordinator II will work through issue resolution, status updates, and overall
timing. The role will maintain budget, track expenditures, transactions and ensure project functions. The
role will support project growth and development and corroborate deliverables. The Prototype Project
Coordinator II will mentor and oversee team members' deliverables to ensure Roush and customer
standards are met. This position is located in Romeo, MI.
As a Prototype Project Coordinator, you will:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activity and relay customer expectations
  • Assist the Project Manager in activities including timing, budgets, quality, and material
    management
  • Direct and coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors
  • Develop and execute small project plans
  • Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure
    deliverables
  • Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile reports
  • Review project status daily and report percentage of completion
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

To be considered as a Prototype Project Coordinator, you will need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of coordination experience or 3 years of skilled trade experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, very detail oriented, reliable attendance and ability to work
    overtime
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with different cross functional
    teams
  • Ability to follow directions and multi-task
  • Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

A successful candidate may also have:
  • Associate degree in Business or related
  • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
