Dental Front Desk Receptionist
Our friendly dental practice is seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our support team as we continue to provide exceptional patient care. If you have dental front desk experience and are looking to join a team that strives to create a good experience for its patients, we'd love to talk to you.
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Front Desk Receptionist, your role includes scheduling, collecting payments at the date of service, checking insurance eligibility, answering questions, and treatment planning. As an extension of the Office Manager, you are a key participant in creating an all-inclusive, patient-focused collaborative culture within our practice.
  • Strive to provide a superior patient experience
  • Support patients within presenting treatment plans
  • Educate the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options, including third-party patient financing
  • Scheduling to patient clinical needs
  • Collect copayments and verify insurance coverage
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Follow-up as needed with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointment
Qualifications:
  • One year of experience
  • Eaglesoft experience a plus
  • Versed in dental terminology and procedures
  • Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
  • Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
