Hearth

Job description

Hearth is the AI growth system for America's home improvement contractors. With 15,000+ paying customers, default profitability, and backing from top-tier investors like Founders Fund and 8VC, we provide the revenue-critical software tradespeople rely on to run their businesses.

We are now building our next layer of innovation: an autonomous AI employee for every contractor. By answering calls 24/7, qualifying leads, and booking jobs, this AI ensures small businesses never miss a lead again. We're on a mission to bring AI to the trades—and we need your help to build it.

The Opportunity

You'll be the person who makes Hearth's NYC office actually work — stocked, presentable, and running smoothly every day. You'll be the first face people see when they walk in, whether that's a new hire, an investor, or the CEO himself. You’ll manage vendors as office repairs and upkeep needs arise. You’ll support the exec team with scheduling in office and off-site events planning. As we keep growing our New York team, you'll help figure out how the space itself needs to evolve to keep up. If you’re up for the challenge of setting the tone for what it feels like to be at Hearth this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Keep the kitchen and office stocked with food, drinks, and supplies so the space is always ready
  • Find, vet, and manage vendors for repairs and upkeep — and negotiate a fair price
  • Greet and welcome everyone who walks in, from new hires to business meeting attendees
  • Handle food and logistics for office events, from team happy hours to engineering off-sites
  • Receive and sort packages and deliveries
  • Scheduling company meetings, in office events, off-sites, and other events
  • Help the team navigate a growing NYC office footprint, including figuring out desk logistics as more people join
Who You Are:

1. You've managed an office, supported as an EA or PA, or worked front-of-house in hospitality — and you know what it takes to make things look effortless for everyone else.

2. You already have people you can call — a painter, an electrician, someone who fixes doors — and you know how to get quality work done fast.

3. You're organized and detail-oriented by nature, and you don't wait to be told what needs to happen next.

What We're Not Looking For:

Not a fit if you need clear direction before acting, get thrown off when priorities shift quickly, or expect someone else to handle the parts of the job that aren't glamorous.

Why Hearth

Hearth is in the middle of a real shift — from a SaaS company to an AI company — and this office is where that next chapter gets built, in person, alongside the CEO and the rest of the leadership team. You'll have direct visibility into how a founder-led company runs day to day, real relationships with the people building it, and — as the team and space keep growing — real room to grow into a bigger role yourself.

Location:

This role will be located in NYC along with the rest of the Hearth team, the CEO, and other key roles in the business. Hearth believes in the energy, connection, and serendipity of in-person work culture (5 days/week) for builders who are committed to building truly innovative software and making a significant positive impact in the world.

  • Mission-driven culture with real growth exposure
  • Medical, dental, and vision options.
  • 401(k).
  • Parental Leave Program.
  • Pet Insurance.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
