Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
The Office Assistant position will assist with office work of any kind, including but not
limited to, scheduling appointments, internet research, phone coverage, scanning,
reception, mailings, filing, data entry, etc.
  • Greet and direct students/visitors
  • Answer phones and direct calls
  • Check OA Mailbox for possible projects
  • Work on projects as assigned
  • Check that printer has all necessary supplies
  • Clean and organize Resource Room
  • Distribute mail or flyers to RAs/staff, per instruc\ons
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Good interpersonal skills are required. This position requires interactions with students
and employees. The ability to be discreet with sensitive information is a must.
You must possess the ability to travel across campus and occasionally lift 50 lbs or less.
Additional Information:
Initiative, creativity and strong organizational skills are an asset to this position.
