JOB TITLE: Training & Development Specialist
Description:
The essential duties of a Training/Development Specialist are to assist with every stage of the officer procurement process from recruitment to onboarding to site training. Additionally, the will conduct effective orientation sessions including role playing potential scenarios/situations, maintain a keen understanding of training trends, development, and best practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Recruiting
โ€ข Training/onboarding
โ€ข Facilitate new hire orientation
โ€ข Able to conduct in depth field training
โ€ข Must have full knowledge of the rules, regulations, procedures and client expectations for all posts
โ€ข Attend meetings with property manager
โ€ข Check/replace QR scans
โ€ข Ensure all officers are in proper uniform, clean-shaved, no visible tattoos, etc.
โ€ข Carries out specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site
โ€ข Act as a resource for new hires, answering questions and providing performance feedback
โ€ข Provide orientation and onboarding events and activities for new and existing production employees
โ€ข Lead technical and culture training
โ€ข Address/resolve specific problems and tailor training program as necessary
โ€ข Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness through Field Supervisors
โ€ข Develop other personnel to provide skills training throughout our processes
โ€ข Insure the proper utilization of Training Within Industry Job Instruction (TWI-JI) methods for all skills training
โ€ข Provide one-on-one and group instruction and performance feedback
โ€ข Identify and assist learning opportunities for all production employees
โ€ข Collaborate with multiple individuals and departments to deliver high-quality educational experiences
โ€ข Serve as liaison between new hires and supervisors to resolve issues (e.g. knowledge and skills gaps, conflicts)
โ€ข Develop assessment tools to determine an employee's skill level
โ€ข Evaluate employees skills and knowledge to determine their overall skill level
โ€ข Encourage employees to expand knowledge and skills; direct to appropriate resources as needed
