True Inspection Services is a DBE, MBE, and EDGE certified engineering and construction management firm specializing in construction inspection and management services. Our project experience includes inspection of asphalt and concrete roadways, bridge construction and rehabilitation and coating inspection services. We have provided inspection services to both the public and private sector, including various state departments of transportation, counties, municipalities, and retailers throughout Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Maryland.
ODOT Prequalified Project Inspectors NEEDED in ODOT District 3 - Ashland, OH
True Inspection Services LLC, a Mannik & Smith Group Company, is hiring full-time, experienced
ODOT Prequalified Project Inspectors. As a Project Inspector, you will be responsible for
ensuring that all construction work is carried out according to project plans and specifications,
meeting ODOT standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and ODOT standards.
  • Document and report any non-compliant work to the Project Manager.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on inspection progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, project team members, and ODOT representatives.

Qualifications
  • ODOT Prequalification as a Project Inspector 1 or 2
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection
  • Knowledge of ODOT standards and specifications
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-compliant work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Certifications
  • A High School diploma or GED is required
  • ODOT Prequalification
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1
  • ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
OR
  • Ohio Aggregate Level 1 and have one of the following:
    • ODOT Flexible Pavement
    • ODOT Traffic Work Zone
    • Commercially Useful Function (CUF)
