Overview
As a Senior Occupancy Planner, you drive the development of occupancy plans and sequencing of group-level and individual moves as well as facilitate and/or resolve planning issues identified in customer planning meetings.
You are a Subject Matter Expert in the client's workplace program and the use of occupancy data analytics to drive solutions to optimize the portfolio in alignment with the client's mission statement. As a leader in the Occupancy Planning and account teams, you model superior client relationship management and strategic thinking. You have the ability to bridge the Line of Business' strategy with Occupancy Planning strategy. You have knowledge of typical occupancy metrics, sharing ratios, industry best practices and occupancy trends.
What This Job Involves
  • Translate client's business requirements and successfully deliver global occupancy planning utilizing firm and industry best practices
  • Develop complex occupancy planning strategies utilizing supply and demand analysis
  • Create strategic occupancy planning presentations reflecting the current state, trends, analysis and potential solutions with detailed narratives reflecting the impact, risk and opportunity of each option.
  • Lead business partner on occupancy, space and move projects; serve as liaison between the client and all other affected resources
  • Partner with Relocation Project Management and Facility Management teams to review and approve moves, develop migration plans and conduct facility audits;
  • Build strong relationships with Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Demand Planning groups to gather top-down headcount and growth projections
  • Actively support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence and personal success
  • Act as an ambassador for JLL, adopting and maintaining the firm's core values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing occupancy, space, move management, and change management processes across a broad geography in a remote and virtual environment
  • Expert level data analytical skills and mastery of Sheets and Excel
  • Critical thinking skill sets and the ability to tell a story through data
  • Proficiency with Google suites and experience utilizing Slides and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening, verbal, written and visual and the ability to engage at all levels of leadership from administrative to executive level.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and navigate through ambiguity
  • Possess proactive mindset and contribute as a senior leader of the occupancy planning team
  • Experience with implementing flex office, hoteling and alternative workplace solutions programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture systems
  • CAFM system and AutoCAD experience is required
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Highly organized and demonstrate high level of performance in project budgeting and scheduling
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Foster relationships with Project management to review planning strategies that drive construction projects and support implementation of these projects

Estimated compensation for this position:
124,800.00 - 170,600.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
