This position is required to be onsite at the client location 5 days/week.
What this job involves:
Managing space portfolios
How do you manage space through data? As a subject matter expert, you'll manage our clients' needs from capacity, demand and supply for their workplace. Driving efficiency through all the products in occupancy planning and resolving a multitude of issues will be your responsibility. You will identify and recommend policies and procedures, maximizing space and driving solutions to increase productivity.
Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
One of your key responsibilities will be to foster critical relationships with various clients and stakeholders. You will need to establish crisp and fast communication channels ensuring our clients receive the highest quality service and delivery. Managing many varying projects whilst ensuring a robust relationship is key.
Monitoring and reporting
You'll also be accountable for preparing and updating accurate project status reports, to the client and to your direct line manager. Financial tracking and reporting of projects is imperative to ensure you are on time, on budget and identified any risk. This will demand your familiarity with typical occupancy metrics and industry occupancy trends.
Business Development
Contribute to the growth of Occupancy Planning for an industry leading real estate services firm. You will generate high quality, effective client-facing content and deliverables (primarily presentations and proposals) to assist in winning new business and renewing national and global accounts in the firm's portfolio. You will work closely with Occupancy Planning team members on strategic business opportunities, creating persuasive and innovative sales documents.
Key skills and responsibilities include
  • Project management to review planning strategies that drive construction projects and support implementation of these projects.
  • Strategic Planning and Tactical Planning across campus/portfolio strategy plans are developed and implemented.
  • Understanding Workplace Mobility and strategy to ensure the clients Real Estate is maximized.
  • Planning, implementing and analyzing Utilization studies.
  • Managing, analyzing and reporting on multiple data sources.
  • Utilizing technology, including CAFM Systems (Nuvolo) to inform occupancy planning and benchmarking.
  • Migration management and coordination with facility management teams to review and approve moves, develop migration plans and conduct facility audits.
  • Ability to space plan with Auto CAD.
  • Problem solving - Every day is different.
  • Implementing and supporting Dynamic Occupancy Planning technologies.

Solid background
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is what you must have along with 10-15 years of experience in a corporate real estate environment. Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable.
Tech-savvy
How tech-savvy are you? Do you utilize software to support solutions and communicate ideas? You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint presentations together with CAFM/IWMS system experience (Nuvolo). Your ability to ask the right questions, think strategically as well as tactically and make appropriate decisions to find solutions for our clients is paramount.

Excellent communication, both written and spoken, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. You will need to be self-motivated whilst having the capability of inspiring others. Estimated compensation for this position:
145,300.00 - 178,100.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
