This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still maintaining necessary collaboration and communication with colleagues. The outpatient office in Ontario provides the necessary resources and support for therapists, including access to advanced telehealth platforms, clinical software for case management, and ongoing training opportunities.

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will play a pivotal role in evaluating mental health needs and delivering tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and developing individualized treatment plans that cater to client needs.
• Maintaining a caseload of approximately 25-30 clients per week, providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions through various modalities, including telehealth.
• Documenting each session in accordance with clinic protocols, completing clinical notes, treatment plans, and diagnostic assessments promptly.
• Working collaboratively with other clinical staff members, case managers, families, and external service providers to ensure a cohesive support network for our clients.
• Utilizing creative therapeutic interventions to facilitate client progress toward achieving their goals.

The focus of this position includes working with a wide range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and trauma within diverse populations. We seek a therapist who is comfortable engaging with clients from various backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity in their practice.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Possession of a current and active California state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic techniques and mental health treatment, particularly in family-focused therapy services.
• Proficient in clinical documentation, including developing diagnostic assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and case notes.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries in therapeutic relationships.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Previous experience working with both individual and family units in a clinical setting.
• A working knowledge of community resources and the ability to integrate these supports into client care effectively.
• Experience with fee collection processes and the intersection of financial aspects in therapeutic service delivery.

Top Point Counseling Clinic offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our comprehensive compensation package includes:
