Job description

Drylock Technologies is looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to help improve manufacturing performance, strengthen equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement across our high-speed production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the floor, solving real manufacturing challenges, and partnering with production, maintenance, engineering, OEM partners, suppliers, and contractors to keep operations moving forward. Ideal role for the senior engineer who wants a track into leadership.


This role does not support sponsorship or relocation and is an onsite role in Eau Claire, WI.


Shift: Monday - Friday

About the Role

You will play a key role in improving line performance, analyzing downtime, supporting equipment upgrades, and helping teams solve technical process challenges. The position requires strong engineering discipline, practical manufacturing judgment, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production setting. The successful candidate must have a history of hands-on improvements to production process challenges and experience with high-speed converting equipment.


What You’ll Do
  • Support manufacturing performance by identifying process issues, analyzing downtime, and helping implement practical solutions.
  • Partner with production, maintenance, engineering, OEMs, suppliers, and contractors to support equipment reliability and project execution.
  • Lead and assist with continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, value stream mapping, and point-of-use improvements.
  • Support equipment upgrades, process changes, troubleshooting activities, and technical manufacturing projects.
  • Help set priorities, execute project plans, maintain accurate records, and communicate progress across teams.
  • Train, coach, and support team members as needed to improve technical capability and manufacturing performance.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a high-speed production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine reliability, materials, equipment, tools, and maintenance-related workflows.
  • Experience with project management, problem solving, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing setting and work well with production, maintenance, engineering, contractors, OEMs, and suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D software is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Supervisory or coaching experience is preferred.
  • Ability to support operations before or after normal hours and respond to off-hour calls when needed.
