Are you ready to help develop the future of next-generation computing infrastructure? At NVIDIA, we seek a Senior MGX Ecosystem Engineer to play a crucial role in growing our MGX hardware ecosystem. This position offers an outstanding chance to collaborate with industry partners, suppliers, OEMs, and technology providers. You will drive innovation and ensure seamless integration of our advanced hardware solutions. Based in our dynamic Santa Clara team, you will influence future platform architectures and standards while expanding the world-class MGX ecosystem!

What you'll be doing:

  • Serving as the primary technical interface to MGX and ecosystem partners, including OEMs, ODMs, and component suppliers.

  • Driving ecosystem growth by enabling partners to develop high-performance hardware solutions based on MGX platform specifications.

  • Leading technical discussions, product reviews, and ecosystem readiness assessments.

  • Providing system-level engineering expertise spanning electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains.

  • Supporting the integration of compute, networking, power delivery, cooling, and mechanical subsystems.

  • Defining and accomplishing validation strategies for ecosystem hardware solutions.

  • Delivering technical training, workshops, and onboarding programs for ecosystem partners.

  • Collaborating with product management, engineering, operations, manufacturing, and business development teams.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of demonstrated ability in hardware platform engineering, systems engineering, ecosystem engineering, or technical partner management.

  • Solid knowledge of server, data center, AI infrastructure, networking, storage, or high-performance computing platforms.

  • Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following fields and working knowledge of all three: Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Thermal engineering.

  • Solid grasp of the hardware development lifecycle from initial concept through to mass production.

  • Excellent communication and partner management skills.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-40%.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related technical field.

  • Experience with AI server platforms, GPU-based systems, high-density compute infrastructure, or hyperscale data center deployments is a plus!

  • Familiarity with thermal simulation tools, CAD platforms, and hardware validation methodologies.

  • Experience with liquid cooling technologies and rack-level cooling architectures.

  • Understanding of industry standards and certifications related to server and data center infrastructure.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD.
