Position Summary
The NPI Program Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end introduction of new products from concept through full-scale production. This role serves as the central point of coordination across departments to ensure successful product launches that meet customer expectations, cost targets, and timeline commitments.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the full lifecycle of new product introduction (NPI) programs from kickoff through production ramp and handoff
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers during product launch phases
  • Coordinate design reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk mitigation activities (DFMEA/PFMEA)
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency
  • Work closely with supply chain to secure materials, qualify suppliers, and mitigate supply risks
  • Lead pilot builds, validation runs, and production readiness activities
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
  • Monitor program budgets, tooling investments, and cost targets
  • Identify and proactively resolve project risks, delays, or resource constraints
  • Facilitate regular program reviews and provide status updates to leadership and customers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI processes and execution efficiency
  • Lead post-launch reviews and ensure successful transition to production teams

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
