About the Role
iCapital is seeking a Senior Client Relationship Manager, Vice President. This individual is responsible for leading sales coverage in Northern California and Northern Nevada regions. This role is part of iCapital's Alternatives Distribution Sales team and will report to the Regional Director. The team is responsible for alternative investment product sales and financial advisor education across registered investment advisors, regional and independent broker dealers and bank trust clientele.
Responsibilities
  • Execute a consultative sales process to increase adoption of alternatives with existing and new users and deliver world class service to existing platform asset holders.
  • Develop sales proficiency across private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Help advisors build better portfolios, have better conversations, and build better businesses.
  • Regular in-market meetings with advisors, GP partners, and COIs to build trust and better understand market trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g. external wholesaler, capital raising specialist, client portfolio manager, product specialist)
  • Self-motivated, client first, adaptable, team player, with a desire to build a sales career with an industry leader
  • Expertise in RIA, Independent BD or Bank distribution segments
  • Demonstrated success building a region, using data and CRM to inform decisions, and implementation of a well-defined sales process
  • Able to sell and provide post sale support for a world-class platform of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are required
  • CAIA certified or obtain within three years of hire
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary and equity for all full-time employees. This role will include a commission based bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
Employees in this role will work fully remote based in the Northern California area. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
