) Registered Dietitian - Full-Time with Some Remote Flexibility
Location: Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab - Millersburg, PA
About Us
Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a committed Registered Dietitian to support our mission of providing outstanding nutritional care and services.
Position Overview
This is a full-time onsite position with some remote flexibility (potential for 1-2 remote days per week based on facility needs and schedule approval). As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nutrition care plans for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met with expertise and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including those with complex medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on residents' needs
  • Monitor residents' nutritional status and modify care plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services into overall resident care
  • Provide guidance to dietary staff on menu planning, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance
  • Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state dietary regulations
Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
