As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Engaging in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

The patients you will serve are diverse individuals and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The ideal candidate for this position must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.

Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines in mental health practice is essential, along with excellent communication skills to effectively establish rapport with a variety of client demographics.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Additional benefits include:
