Overview
The Lead Designer is responsible for elevating the visual identity of the Professional Bowlers Association across social media, broadcast, and commercial materials. This role drives the development of creative still designs, motion graphics, and presentation materials that support national broadcasts, tournament storytelling, sponsorship sales, and brand growth initiatives.
The Lead Designer provides visual leadership across digital and broadcast platforms while collaborating closely with internal marketing, social, and production teams. This role also partners with the Lucky Strike Entertainment design team to ensure brand cohesion and alignment across properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop high-impact static and animated creative for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
  • Design broadcast-ready graphic elements including lower thirds, transitions, wipes, stat boards, and promotional assets.
  • Create motion graphics packages for tournament weeks and digital campaigns.
  • Design premium sales decks, sponsorship presentations, and executive materials.
  • Develop key art and visual identity systems for major events and championships.
  • Establish repeatable design templates and scalable graphic systems.
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital, broadcast, and presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social, production, and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Lucky Strike Entertainment design team on cross-property initiatives.
  • Support live-event workflows with fast-turn creative execution.
Qualifications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative, motion graphics, and presentation design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Experience designing vertical and horizontal formats.
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual systems expertise.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Sports, media, or entertainment experience preferred.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
Minimum three to five years of professional design experience required, preferably in sports, broadcast, entertainment, or media environments.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.
