Position Summary

Talented Teen Club is seeking a motivated and energetic young adult to support youth leadership, mentoring, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and summer camp programming. This position is ideal for recent high school graduates, college students, or young professionals interested in education, youth development, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement.

The Youth Development Assistant will help create a positive environment in which young people can build self-esteem, leadership skills, and career readiness, while supporting the organization's mission to reach, teach, guide, and inspire youth.

Roles & Responsibilities

Program Assistant

  • Assist with planning and implementing youth programs and workshops.
  • Support student attendance, registration, and participation tracking.
  • Help prepare program materials and supplies.
  • Assist staff with special projects and community events.

Summer Camp Counselor

  • Supervise and engage youth during camp activities and field trips.
  • Ensure participant safety and adherence to program guidelines.
  • Lead recreational, educational, and team-building activities.
  • Support daily camp operations and student engagement.

Youth Leadership Coach

  • Encourage students to develop leadership and communication skills.
  • Facilitate group discussions and team-building exercises.
  • Serve as a positive role model for youth participants.
  • Assist with leadership development curriculum.

Peer Mentor
