How much do non exempt biomedical engineering masters jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Non Exempt Biomedical Engineering Masters vs Biomedical Technician?
| Aspect | Non Exempt Biomedical Engineering Masters | Biomedical Technician |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Master's degree in biomedical engineering or related field | Associate's or bachelor's degree in biomedical technology or related field |
| Work Environment | Research labs, hospitals, medical device companies | Hospitals, clinics, medical equipment service centers |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Research institutions, medical device manufacturers, healthcare facilities | Hospitals, biomedical equipment service providers |
The Non Exempt Biomedical Engineering Masters typically requires a master's degree and involves more research and design work, often in labs or manufacturing settings. In contrast, a Biomedical Technician usually holds an associate's or bachelor's degree and focuses on maintaining, repairing, and servicing medical equipment in clinical environments. Both roles are essential in healthcare but differ in education level, responsibilities, and work settings.
