 Position Summary

BrightStar Care of Lake County is seeking a skilled part-time Registered Nurse to deliver home-based infusion therapy, clinical case management, and skilled nursing visits. This role includes 20 guaranteed paid hours per week (field + office time) with flexible daytime scheduling and no nights. We are not a Medicare agency—no OASIS, no SOC/ROC/Recert marathons, and no Medicare-driven visit quotas.

What You’ll Do (Your Clinical Impact)

• Complete in-home skilled nursing assessments and visits.

• Provide and monitor home infusion therapies (IV, PICC, central line, specialty infusions).

• Serve as a clinical case manager coordinating patient care.

• Document using BrightStar’s mobile charting platform.

• Perform office-based duties as needed to support guaranteed hours.

Schedule & Territory

• 20 guaranteed paid hours/week.

• Daytime hours Monday–Friday.

• Optional weekend visits at premium pay.

• Primary service area: Hobart, Merrillville, Crown Point, Portage-border.

• Occasional visits throughout Lake County as needed.
