Indotronix is seeking an :Software Engineer-Developer 3, Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL

Requested Security Clearance: Secret
Shift:  First
Start Time:  8:00 AM
End Time:  4:30 PM
OT/DOT expected?: possible OT
Bachelor Stem Must
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time;

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Java-based mathematical algorithms in collaboration with industry partners
• Support full software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and issue resolution
• Create and maintain software design artifacts and participate in code and design reviews
• Contribute to Agile planning, sprint execution, and continuous improvement processes
• Develop software requirements and system architecture for MDS systems
• Design, implement, and improve integration and testing processes, tools, and metrics
• Execute and document integration and testing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related field
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (must be current or active within the last 24 months)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with Java, J2EE, or Spring frameworks
• Knowledge of server-side development and message-based systems
• Experience building enterprise-level applications
• Proficiency with tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Nexus, and Eclipse
• Understanding of system engineering artifacts (Use Cases, UML diagrams)
• Experience developing complex mathematical algorithms (e.g., tracking, guidance, radar systems)
• Ability to translate MATLAB-based algorithms into Java
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and debugging techniques
• Security+ certification or equivalent (preferred)
