Job Description
Entity: Oracle America, Inc.
Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.30495)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Software development and proficiency in programming languages: Java and JavaScript;
2. Developing full-stack web applications using front-end JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, and Java for backend development;
3. Expertise in cloud infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS);
4. System Architecture using REST API design, microservices architecture, and building distributed systems;
5. Proficiency in Databases, including both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases;
6. Big data processing related to ETL pipelines, indexing, and processing large datasets using Hadoop and Spark;
7. Building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes;
8. Agile software methodologies and developing CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deployment;
9. Prototyping new customer-facing platform services and developing proof of concepts (POC); and
10. Development of platform services, including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment and support.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $99,600 to $234,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
