This role is critical to delivering high-quality software that drives customer value and supports Litera's continued growth.

What You’ll Deliver
  • Develop and deliver high-quality software features that improve customer experiences across Literal's SaaS product portfolio.
  • Contribute to the stability, performance, and reliability of applications by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Quality Engineering teams to turn customer and business needs into impactful product capabilities.
  • Improve code quality and maintainability through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools to increase delivery velocity, enhance code quality, and streamline engineering workflows.
  • Support the evolution of scalable cloud-based applications and services that serve a global customer base.
  • Continuously expand technical expertise across modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Contribute as an engaged member of an Agile engineering team, helping drive continuous improvement and successful product delivery.

What You’ll Bring – Must‑Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of software engineering experience, including internships, academic projects, or professional experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Foundational understanding of software development principles, object‑oriented design, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies in an AI‑first engineering environment.
Nice to Haves
  • Exposure to full‑stack web development using .NET/C#, REST APIs, or similar modern application frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience using AI‑powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar coding assistants.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices, legal technology, data analytics, AI/ML applications, or experience in fast‑paced environments through projects, open‑source work, or hackathons.

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan.
