Job description

Imperial is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our Nike Headwear team. This remote position is critical for driving consistent sales growth. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and providing exceptional leadership to our Team Dealer partners while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. The Sales Manager will be the primary customer contact for assigned accounts. This role will report to the Vice President of Nike Team Headwear.

What You'll be Doing
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, in partnership with the VP of Nike Team Headwear, to motivate Team Dealer Sales Reps to promote Nike Team Headwear products, increase market share, and achieve sales goals
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Nike Team's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers
  • Coach and train partners on Nike Team Headwear product, best practices for building a cap, and placing an order
  • Manage and maintain relationships with Dealer Sales Reps, ensuring their satisfaction and driving revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Nike Team Headwear Program Specialists, marketing, product development, and customer service to support sales efforts and achieve channel objectives
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and develop effective sales strategies
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales performance

Success is Measured By
  • Sales growth measured by increase in sales over prior period results
  • Account development - increase the number of Sales Reps in each Dealer that are actively placing orders

What We Need
Experience: 5 years in sales leadership, preferably within the Team Dealer industry or closely related field
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Skills:
  • A results-driven, customer-centric approach to sales management
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Technical and professional knowledge of team sports products and supply chain
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel as needed

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or workstation
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and keyboards
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
  • Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout the facility, including walking, bending, and reaching as needed
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read screens, documents, and reports
