Summary:The Performance team provides performance testing services to Origination's & Servicing Project teams in order to ensure better application performance and server capacity in production. The Performance QA Engineer role on the team is responsible for supporting performance tests, along with regression, manual, automated and load/balancing testing on applications.


Essential Functions:

  • Work with all project teams across Originations & Servicing to determine applications to be performance tested
  • Knowledge on SDLC phases, testing activities in each phase, overall understanding of pre-requisite tasks related to Performance testing
  • Good understanding of "Process within Agile Projects"
  • Must know how performance testing is done agile projects"
  • Well versed with performance Non Functional requirements, and SLA's
  • Skilled in all types of Performance testing like Load/ stress/ endurance,
  • Skilled in QTP/UFT Automation Tool with VBScript
  • Skilled in Selenium Automation testing
  • Identify Performance Test Scenarios
  • Determine the environment and data required for performance test
  • Need to create scripts for Web/ true client / and Citrix protocol
  • Need to be skilled in writing custom functions
  • Need to have working knowledge of controller , and its load generators
  • Create performance test scripts
  • Execute load tests with Load Runner
  • Skilled in analysis of the load test results, transaction response time, server metrics, network bandwidth, understanding of application architecture
  • Monitoring performance monitors of servers to correlate to Load Runner metrics
  • Create trend analysis based on previous executions
  • Skilled to raise defect in QC ALM
  • Generate Load test report
Qualifications

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four (4) + years' hands-on QTP/UFT scripting, testing and analysis experience on web and Citrix applications
  • Skilled in Quality Center
  • Must be well versed with Excel, Word, and HTML to analyze test results
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills, and must be able to work successfully in      cross-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, on multiple concurrent assignments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
