Job description

The Associate Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. The scope of this work requires a basic understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, along with the ability to troubleshoot network issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with senior engineers to design and implement network solutions that meet business needs and security standards.
  • Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment while monitoring network performance to quickly identify and resolve issues and minimize downtime.
  • Complete accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Resolve network-related initiatives and issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Work with clients on virtual private network (VPN) installations and troubleshooting.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 0 - 2 years related work experience
  • Basic networking understanding
Preferred Qualifications
  • Client communications experience
  • Palo Alto firewall knowledge
  • Cisco Systems networking knowledge
Job Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in a corporate office environment
