Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
1. 8 to 10 years of professional experience.
2. High-level teaming and communication skills to influence and persuade others.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management.
4. Deep understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM).
5. Extensive experience on designing and implementing Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), Catalyst Center with Data Center Networking Technologies and Cloud Solutions.
6. Strong experience with Monitoring and Alerting Tools: Cisco DNAC/Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, Data Dog, Thousand Eyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix & Site24x7
Deep understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) switching technologies including SDA, DNAC, ISE, VXLAN, ACI, fabric path, Spanning Tree (STP), Virtual LAN (VLAN), and VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) concepts.
Cisco SDA Certified or higher certification
Proficient with scripting technologies, including but not limited to Python, Ansible, Perl, and Terraform.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Must have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
2. Support a Cisco centric LAN, WAN and WLAN environment. This includes Switches routers, firewalls, security, wireless & ISE.
3. Plan, configure, and implement Cisco SDA fabric solutions using Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center).
4. Manage fabric roles including control plane, border, and edge node configurations.
5. Perform fabric monitoring, assurance, and policy management.
6. Provide operational technical support for Cisco Catalyst 9300, 9500, 9600 series, and Cisco IE industrial switches.
7. Handle network integration and troubleshooting within OT environments.
8. Perform hardware installations including stacking, power redundancy, and module replacements.
9. Measurement, optimization, and tuning of network performance and ensuring that systems will run reliably and are highly available.
10. Deep understanding of network orchestration and automation using Cisco SDA & DNAC with ISE integration, Phyton & Ansible.
11. Perform critical technical troubleshooting for LAN and fabric-related incidents.
12. Lead software upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities across switching infrastructure.
13. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve network reliability.
14. Strong knowledge and practical experience with OSPF, BGP, ISI-IS protocols.
15. Prepare and maintain detailed technic al documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs.
16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, OT operations, and project engineering.
17. Support change, problem management activities and participate in on-call rotation for critical events.
18. Function as a point of escalation for operational entities regarding regular or complex issues.
19. Monitor system for trouble areas and proactively resolve and document root cause.
20. Work closely with customer, Infrastructure teams and vendors such as Cisco.
Experience working Agile methodologies or working as part of an Agile team.
Base Salary Range : $90,000 to $110,000 Per Annum
