IDEALFORCE has a Contract-To-Hire position available immediately for a Network/Cloud/Virtualization Developer to join our customer in Santa Clara, CA. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

Design & Implement all aspects at the platform level for hardware,software integrated engineered solutions. 

This includes hardware,Virtualization,OS,Networking,Storage etc 

The candidate must be excellent in scripting languages: JAVA is a must, Perl, Python etc

Qualifications

- University degree in Computer Science or related discipline 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
- Experience with scripting languages/tools like Shell scripting, JAVA,Perl,Python,Tcl is required. 
- Sound knowledge of Unix Networking - TCP/IP, Layer 2 (Switches,VLANs, Bonding, STP, LACP etc) is required. 
- Sound knowledge of Linux/Solaris OS internals, automated install/setup, configuration, patching etc for enterprise applications 
- Sound knowledge and programming experience on any Routers or Switches 
- A good team player 
Nice-to-have: 
- Hands on experience with any server Cloud/virtualization technologies like Openstack, Xen (preferred),KVM,VMware 
- Hands on experience with handling servers, storage, assembling/cabling of blade/rack mount servers 
- Experience with SAN/NAS/DAS Storage using protocols like iSCSI,Infiniband,FC desired 
- Experience with Oracle specific technologies/tools like Oracle Database, Enterprise Manager, Clusterware is 
desirable 
Note: This is a 6 month Contract-to-hire role and Client will provide sponsorship if required for qualified candidates.
