Overview 

The Senior Accountant/Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for various corporate accounting functions plus provides support to the Agency and SellCheck (SC) businesses as their finance business partner. 

Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:

  • Analyze revenue and expense postings comparing monthly actual to budget. Record accruals or deferrals of costs and revenues using NetSuite Revenue Recognition for RAZR and SC 

  • Monthly journal entries relating to corporate accounting functions including treasury, prepaids, accruals, fixed asset management using NetSuite FAM process 

  • Prepare miscellaneous P-card transactions for US/Canada locations 

  • Final coding review for the T/E US card transactions of the Staff Accountant 

  • Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and system changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies 

  • Analyze expenses to evaluate cost saving opportunities to drive value for the company 

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as assigned 

  • Assist with preliminary and annual audit 

  • Assist with timely and accurate completion of month-end close process 

  • Other accounting or reporting related duties, as assigned 

Responsibilities as a Senior Financial Analyst / Business Partner:

  • Developing and maintaining financial reports to analyze and communicate drivers of operational and financial results for SC, Agency 

  • Analyze financial results on a recurring and ad hoc basis to provide insights and drivers of performance 

  • Meet with functional teams on weekly/monthly or as needed basis for financial guidance 

  • Analyze and track sales commissions for specific plans 

  • Weekly forecasting and reporting for Revenue/GP specifically for Sell Check 

  • NetSuite maintenance for new projects and opportunities for Sell Check, Agency 

Qualifications 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

  • Accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Ability to problem solve and work independently 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to summarize key findings in a clear and concise manner to upper management 

  • Proficient with Excel including use of v-lookup and pivot table functionality 

  • Familiar with general ledger software and journal entry preparation and posting 

Education & Experience 

  • Minimum of 4 years accounting and/or finance experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience plus education 

  • Account reconciliation experience 

  • Reporting analysis experience 

  • Experience with ERP Systems, preferably NetSuite
