Pool Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter with a pool construction background; one who can work independently in a high energy, fast-paced environment.

Scope: 

The Pool Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of in-ground swimming pools by working directly with the Project Manager, Designer, Homeowner, and Sub-contractors.
Duties:

  • Understanding the entire scope of the project, including a potential hand off to a landscape construction crew
  • Attending construction meetings weekly
  • Update construction coordinator daily on job progress and scheduling needs
  • Communicate job progress and issues with homeowners and designers
  • Attends pre-construction walk throughs with homeowners and designers to include spraying out pool, setting elevation and completing pre-construction checklists with the homeowner
  • Quality checks on panels, materials, and equipment
  • Must dig 6-10 pools monthly
  • Any onsite issue that arises during the dig and construction is the responsibility of the Project Manager to convey to the homeowner
  • Remains on site from start to finish completing appropriate checklist
  • Walks project with plumber to point out obstacles and go over how plumbing should go before the long plumb begins, checks in during long plumb and completes a checklist upon its completion
  • Goes over system install with plumber to ensure plumbing is per diagram and the valves are pinned properly, plumbing is level and clean and is up to APD standards.
  • Meets electrician on site to go over plans for wiring and completes checklist upon completion to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Walks project with deck crew and designer to outline decking and confirm materials, pattern, and base materials are correct. Performs a checklist upon completion to ensure the job is up to standards.
  • Onsite for all major aspects of the job
  • Helps to complete any punch list items given by the homeowner or designer
  • Ensures site is clean throughout the entire process
  • Performs final walk through with designer and homeowner
