Job description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Leadership & Delivery
  • End-to-End Governance: Lead the full implementation lifecycle (Initiation, Discovery, Design, Build, Testing, Training, Cutover, and Post-Go-Live Support) for the NetSuite AR module.
  • Scope & Schedule Management: Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements; track progress against the baseline project plan.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Status Reporting: Provide clear, structured status updates, executive dashboards, and milestone tracking to project sponsors, finance leadership, and key stakeholders.
  1. Functional & Process Alignment (Accounts Receivable)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C) Workflow Alignment: Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Billing teams to map current-state business processes to NetSuite best practices for customer invoicing, credit management, payment processing, cash application, and dunning.
  • Advanced Revenue & Billing Integration: Coordinate requirements for recurring billing, usage-based invoicing, credit memos, and integration with Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) where applicable.
  • Integration Oversight: Manage technical scope for integrations between NetSuite AR and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, payment gateways, banking portals, automated clearing houses).
  1. Testing, Data Migration & Change Management
  • Data Migration Oversight: Direct the extraction, cleanup, validation, and loading of historical customer master data, open invoices, aging schedules, and trial balance records into NetSuite.
  • Testing Execution: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, test script creation, bug tracking, and sign-offs with core finance users.
  • Training & Enablement: Ensure comprehensive end-user documentation, training programs, and change management plans are executed for the AR and billing teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise ERP implementations, with at least 2 3 successful NetSuite financial module go-lives (specifically AR / Order-to-Cash).
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of core accounting concepts, including Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 principles), Credit & Collections, Cash Application, and Multi-Currency/Multi-Subsidiary structures (NetSuite OneWorld).
  • Technical Familiarity: Solid grasp of NetSuite functional capabilities, SuiteScript/SuiteFlow possibilities, custom fields/records, and third-party integration patterns (Celigo, Dell Boomi, APIs).
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies; hands-on experience using tools like JIRA, Asana, MS Project, or SmartSheet.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PMP / PMI certification or NetSuite ERP Consultant / SuiteCloud certifications are a strong plus.
