Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

What are some common challenges faced by a NetSuite Project Manager during system implementation?

NetSuite Project Managers often encounter challenges such as aligning diverse stakeholder expectations, managing data migration complexities, and ensuring user adoption during system implementation. We set ambitious goals, move with urgency, and create extraordinary value. Obsessed with client impact, we thrive in a collaborative, innovative culture where deep expertise turns insight into action. We're proud of the results we deliver and the trust we earn-fueling sustained growth and exceptional client satisfaction.

Our mission is to transform healthcare through pharmacy, and our vision is to reimagine pharmacy to improve lives.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Director, Project Management directly manages a team of Project Managers and owns the client facing project management function. This role requires management, development and growth of a team of project managers that support our consulting and managed services projects. In addition, this role is accountable for development and execution of our client-facing project operating model, including delivery standards, implementation tools, staffing approach and performance management. This role is vital in helping ensure effective financial reporting, project budgeting, project forecasting, and at a more aggregate level utilization management. The Senior Director partners closely with Finance, Field Operations, and Client Services Leaders, with frequent interaction with Visante's senior leadership, to strengthen our operational execution, where client satisfaction and on-budget financial performance is key. This role primarily supports contracted projects and is expected to operate as an architect behind the scenes-equipping Project Managers to lead proactively, own outcomes, deliver to contractual standards and manage financial performance.

Our team and organization is rapidly growing, and we seek an innovative leader, brining a strong track record of building world-class project delivery and project management teams and operations who will enhance Visante's Project Management team by redefining accountabilities, elevating expectations, and building a delivery function that drives measurable client outcomes and financial accountability.

This role requires substantive collaboration and partnership with our client facing executive sponsors, Client Success executives, service leaders, consultants and field services teams, plus strong working relationships with finance, human resources and our other support functions.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Builds Visante's PM team from administrative coordination to proactive delivery leadership that drives client outcomes and   financial accountability.
  • Defines what 'great delivery' means at Visante and equips Project Managers to lead workstreams, anticipate needs, and influence cross-functional contributors to achieve client outcomes.
  • Owns utilization management and project budget performance expectations for the PM team; establishes the routines, controls, and behaviors that improve forecast accuracy, burn transparency, and corrective action.
  • Creates clear portfolio-level visibility (status, risks, dependencies, financial signals) and ensures risks are surfaced early with options and recommendations for leadership decisions.
  • Establishes and enforces delivery standards, templates, and governance that are lightweight enough for speed but strong enough to drive consistency, accountability, and repeatable results.
  • Redesigns PM staffing and role expectations to support a sustainable skill mix; ensures PM capacity is used for high-value delivery leadership while administrative work is minimized or reallocated.
  • Owns project management tools and platforms (e.g., Monday.com, NetSuite project setup, Teams/SharePoint practices) and leads platform changes when needed to improve efficiency and decision-quality.
  • Develops a high-performing PM team through   hiring, coaching, clear performance standards, and decisive action when   expectations are not met.
  • Partners as a peer with Finance, Solution Leaders, Field Operations, and Client Success to align delivery execution with business objectives; drives shared accountability for outcomes and financial performance.
  • Leads change across the PMO and adjacent stakeholders to embed new expectations, routines, and delivery behaviors;  ensures changes are adopted and sustained, not just documented.

Requirements

Education

Required:  Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Health Administration, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:  Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or similar).

Experience

Required: 10+ years of project/program/delivery leadership experience within consulting, professional services, managed services, or healthcare-related environments. 5+ years of direct people leadership experience managing Project Managers, including setting expectations, performance management, and team builds. Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements or health system-focused implementation projects, including enterprise deployments, change adoption, and complex multi-stakeholder delivery environments. Proven track record creating financial accountability in delivery teams (utilization management, project budget performance, forecasting discipline).

Preferred: Experience supporting both fixed-scope consulting engagements and long-term managed services programs. Experience in healthcare, pharmacy services, or health system operations. Experience selecting, implementing, or migrating PMO tooling and platforms in a growth environment.

Credentials

Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification. Comfortable operating in environments where delivery success is defined by outcomes and financial performance-not adherence to a single project management methodology

Special Skills:

  • Strategic project management design capability with a bias toward leading adoption, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong financial acumen-able to set expectations for utilization and budget performance and to partner effectively with Finance.
  • Ability to set expectations and drive behavior change; comfortable challenging 'how we've always done it.'
  • Demonstrated talent builder: hiring, coaching, and building teams with clear standards and decisive action.
  • High integrity, humility, and emotional intelligence; builds trust while raising the bar.
  • Pragmatic operational judgment-balances rigor with speed in a growing, remote-first environment.
  • Strong executive communication skills with credibility among internal senior leaders; operates effectively as a behind-the-scenes architect.
  • Proven strength at developing and growing project managers.
  • Proficiency with delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Monday.com, NetSuite project setup, MS Teams, SharePoint).

Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive salary and benefits for this full-time salaried role.
