Position Description:
As a NetSuite Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a global, multi-subsidiary NetSuite ecosystem. You will serve as a trusted technology advisor to internal stakeholders while acting as a hands-on lead developer supporting NetSuite solutions and customizations.
In this role, you will oversee the broader e-commerce and integration landscape, including iPaaS connections with storefronts, payment processors, banking platforms, accounting systems, and tax engines. You will ensure NetSuite is strategically aligned to the company's business objectives and technology roadmap, maximizing the platform's value across the organization.
You will work closely with business units and cross-functional technical teams to deliver scalable B2C and B2B solutions. Additionally, you will define and communicate a strategic vision for the use of NetSuite across the enterprise, driving innovation and measurable value for the business and its clients.
This position is located at the client site in Alexandria, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Leads discovery sessions with clients, and merchant partners to capture requirements and architect scalable solutions.
. Leading role as NetSuite ERP solutions architect.
. Ability to lead and deliver end-to-end solutions alongside a team of engineers.
. Integral team member alongside NetSuite engineers, functional SMEs, and business analysis.
. Execute development requirements outlined in statement of work, technical requirements or user stories.
. Build relationships with clients to deliver successful projects on time and on budget.
. Participates in Scrum Agile development methodologies.
. Stay updated on new products and technologies including core NetSuite and e-commerce.
. Configures and customizes NetSuite Solutions and Integrations for B2C and B2B architecture to fit current client ecosystem.
. Educates internal and external audiences on NetSuite best practices.
. Partners with clients on strategic roadmap with NetSuite as the ERP and center of business operations.
. Expected to collaborate with other cross functional teams in integration needs with Adobe AEM, Adobe Commerce, Events Platforms, CRM, CDP, and Data warehouse.
. Works alongside e-commerce, finance and accounting teams on NetSuite integrations, configurations, and customizations.
. Conducts business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with clients.
. Preparation of scope documents resulting from prospects/clients' requirements gathering sessions.
. Problem solving skills to assess and troubleshoot issues that arise during application configurations, workflows, and scripting.
. Ensures information security protocols and practices are in place to protect unauthorized access and use of corporate data.
. Help service delivery teams to ensure the agreed-upon targets and standards are met.
. Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiencies for clients.
. Effectively and proactively communicates risks to management and assists with the development of viable solutions to mitigate risk.
. Ability to work in a hectic, fast-paced organization, and filled with high-pressure situations daily.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 5+ direct full life cycle NetSuite implementation+, upgrades, and support experience.
. 5+ years of developing and supporting e-commerce software solutions with NetSuite as the ERP.
. 5+ years' experience with API (Soap, Rest) development and integration.
. 3+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite administration, configuration, and customization.
. 3+ years' experience with iPaaS Systems (MuleSoft, Celigo, Jitterbit, Boomi).
. In-depth knowledge of years of NetSuite modules, including Finance, Banking, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory.
. Experience with workflows, user events, saves searches, scheduled scripts and map reduce scripts.
. Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics is a plus.
. Experience with custom implementation and JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js, React.js, Node.js.
. Ability to lead functional and technical workshops including documenting requirements and use cases.
. Experience with NetSuite's SuiteCloud Developer Framework (SDF).
. Experience with SuiteScript (1.0, 2.0), SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, Integrations, and Reporting.
. Experience with data conversions, migrations, interfaces/integrations, reporting, and customizations to NetSuite applications.
. Experience working in a global business environment.
. Preferred NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Application Developer, Web Services Developer, ERP Consultant Certifications.
. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $124,700.00 - $218,200.00.
