Pre-Sales EngineerIntroduction

The Pre-Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting major enterprise customers by providing technical expertise in networking and network observability. This individual will be responsible for driving consultative software and hardware sales into large enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize deep networking expertise in areas such as Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, BGP, VoIP, and L4/L7.
  • Provide hands-on experience with Cisco products, with Juniper experience considered a strong plus.
  • Conduct network observability, network performance monitoring, and packet-level analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Linux and exposure to AWS, Cloud, and VMware environments.
  • Sell technology solutions to enterprise customers through effective presentations, demos, and customer interactions.
  • Understand LAN/WAN topologies including MPLS, Frame Relay, and ATM.
  • Utilize Wireshark and other sniffer tools for packet analysis.
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure and performance issues.
  • Experience with nGenius is a plus.
  • Support enterprise sales cycles, deliver compelling demos, and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
RequirementsRequired Skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of Sales Engineer experience supporting major enterprise customers.
