Position Highlights:

  • Position: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist

  • Location: Primary location: Edward, Elmhurst Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital (NCH)

  • Full-Time 1.0 FTE position will be expected to work a mix of 13 12-hour day and night shifts throughout the month. Physicians will be at the forefront of shaping and molding a cutting-edge OB Hospitalist program with an Obstetric Emergency Department while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Reduced FTEs may also be available

  • Pay Range: $220,825 (10th Percentile) - $345,000 (75th Percentile) - As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

Endeavor Health is expanding its OBGYN Hospitalist program. Endeavor's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has many distinguished faculty and attending physicians and continues to focus on growth. As the principal academic affiliate of the Pritzker School of Medicine at The University of Chicago, academic appointment is available to qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, team-oriented, and board certified/board eligible. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight for all activities on the unit, working in collaboration with nurses and staff to effectively deploy resources and manage patients.
  • Supervise all clinical care for unassigned patients in labor & delivery, including cesarean sections, spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, antenatal and postpartum care.
  • Deliver high quality evidence based obstetric care
  • Work collaboratively with all other OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs nurses and staff.
  • Work with service line leaders toward continuous improvement by participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives, helping educate staff, and guiding patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Level

  • Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required.

Minimum Licensure Requirements

  • Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.

Minimum Certification Requirements

  • Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of expertise in OBGYN Hospital Medicine preferred.
