• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients’ mental health history, concerns, and treatment goals.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet specific client needs.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches to foster personal growth.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, using evidence-based practices to guide your decisions.
• Provide teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for all clients, including those with mobility challenges or who prefer virtual engagement.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay abreast of advancements in mental health care.

The clients at NCH Mental and Wellness Clinic include individuals grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional challenges. Our diverse clientele demands a nuanced understanding and application of various therapeutic approaches to cater to different backgrounds and personal experiences. As a mental health counselor, you will play a key role in fostering resilience and aiding in the recovery process of each client.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic, non-judgmental support and effectively communicate with clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload while maintaining quality care.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly within private practice.
• Proficiency in providing telehealth services and using relevant technology platforms.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.

NCH Mental and Wellness Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our benefits include:
