Title: IT Support Specialist I

Employment Type: Part-Time Contract

Compensation: $22.50–$26.50 per hour

Location: Perris, California

Work Model: 100% onsite

Schedule: Four hours per day, with a flexible schedule that must fall between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

A global e-commerce health and wellness organization is seeking an IT support professional to maintain dependable end-user technology across a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Position Summary

The IT Support Specialist I provides first-level technical support for employee devices, software, access, and common network issues. The role combines responsive troubleshooting with endpoint setup, inventory control, documentation, user training, and support for technology refresh projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve hardware, software, device, and access incidents received through ticketing, chat, and email channels.
  • Diagnose routine technical issues, document progress, and escalate complex problems through established support paths.
  • Image, configure, test, deploy, and remove Microsoft, Apple, and Google endpoints and applications.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and shipment coordination.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory and assist with periodic audits and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot common network, peripheral, and application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams or vendors.
  • Explain technical information, policies, and procedures clearly to non-technical users.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge-base articles, support procedures, training materials, and incident documentation.
  • Train users on new devices and technologies while protecting the confidentiality of information and systems.
  • Participate in team meetings and on-call support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • At least two years of enterprise support experience with macOS and iOS.
  • At least two years of enterprise support experience with Windows.
  • Professional experience providing desktop or help desk support.
  • Working knowledge of patch management and software distribution tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with standard help desk ticketing tools and computer or network support practices.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree.
  • Experience executing endpoint or infrastructure refresh projects.
  • Bash or PowerShell scripting experience.
