Job description

Position: General and Operations Manager
Location: Orlando, FL - Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD)
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week

Summary/Objective:

Upon contract award, BTAS will be seeking a General and Operations Manager who will assist in project and program level planning, populating, updating and revising program specific information.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide products and assist with day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
  • Serve as primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program / project issues.
  • Manage planning, budgeting, scheduling, communication, and other administrative duties necessary to sustain operations.
  • Prepare budgets, schedules, documentation, and status reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to gain efficiencies with operations.
  • Provide administrative support necessary to effectuate team meetings and engineering reviews.
  • Conduct market research and ensure compliance with all relevant command and cyber policies.
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor degree required, with majors in business, economics, or management preferred.
  • Defense Acquisition University (Level 2 or equivalent) certification required.
  • 3 or more years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures or like experience.
  • Experience should include demonstrated experience in areas of implementing policy, coordinating procedures, developing schedules and budgets, and performance coordinating work activities of multiple projects occurring in parallel, as well as demonstrated experience with Agile and Confluence.
  • Must be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not supervise the work of others.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

Very little.
