Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Scanner Technician to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, Monitoring trends, assessing results to what is expected, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement and customer quality product. The ideal candidate has multiple years' experience with ASML scanner equipment.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Monitorandrespondtoin-lineissuesinthewaferfabricationphotoscannerequipment.

  • Troubleshootandresolvecomplexphotoscannerequipmentissues.

  • Attentiontodetailandveryclearcommunicationwiththeconfidencetoescalateanyunknownsorissues.

  • Analyzedatausingsoftwaretoolstoidentifytrendsandpossibleproblems;thentranslateintoaworkingsolution

  • EngagementwithEngineeringandvendorstoensureproductionqualityresultfromthescannerequipment.

  • ExecuteschangepointmanagementtoensureQualityexecutionandvalidation.

  • ContinuouslyupdateStandardOperatingProcedures(SOPs)toassureaqualityclearresult.

  • Work hours: C Shift - Thursday through Saturday (6:45am - 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

  • AbilitytofollowStandardOperatingProcedures(SOP)andtechnicaldocuments

  • ProblemSolvingandassessmentcapability.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
