Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Carpenter to join our production team. In this role, you will construct, assemble, and install structural and finished components for modular building systems in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and material requirements.
  • Construct and assemble wood and metal framing for modular components.
  • Install doors, cabinetry, frames, subfloor, flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling grid/tile, wall accessories, hardware, or wall protection.
  • Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
  • Remove damaged or defective parts/sections of structures and repair or replace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Inspect finished projects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Travel to active construction sites as required to support installation, repair, warranty, and project completion activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of carpentry or construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 -75 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing facilities, outdoor construction sites, and non-conditioned environments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to and willingness to travel for extended periods to active project sites as required.
