Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic CAPEX Buyer to oversee and manage assigned purchasing categories with a local, regional, and global scope. In this role, you will guarantee operational continuity and cost efficiency through high-impact negotiations and value-driven sourcing strategies.

You will be responsible for building, managing, and sustaining strategic, value-adding relationships with key suppliers to maximize overall business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Management: Manage and administer assigned CAPEX purchasing categories across local, regional, and global scopes to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead effective and efficient supplier negotiations to achieve optimal total cost of ownership (TCO) and maximize value creation.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Build and maintain sustainable, long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply market dynamics within the beverage and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: Specialized Diploma or Certification in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar CAPEX / Procurement role.
  • Industry Experience: Strong background in the Beverage industry is REQUIRED. Experience in broader FMCG (Food, Homecare) is a strong plus.
  • Languages:
    • Spanish: Native / Fluent (MUST HAVE)
    • English: Advanced level (C1/C2) (MUST HAVE)
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP purchasing systems.
  • Methodologies: Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, cost modeling, and market supply dynamics.
