Position Overview

The National Account Business Development Manager, Broadcast for FUJIFILM North America Corporation's Optical Devices Division will report to the VP of Sales. This pivotal role focuses on driving growth and revenue for Cinema and Broadcast products with the identified Broadcast National Key Account in the USA. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies and implementing sales initiatives for Fujifilm Broadcast lens and Cinema camera and lens product in support of the national account ecosystems. The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Having a strong understanding of the broadcast camera/lens ecosystems will be an asset.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

It is critical that the individual in this roll especially be able to proficiently:

  • Establish and grow collaborative relationships between end-users and service providers of the Broadcast and cinema tools.  Creating a value rich environment for the Fujifilm branded products to thrive.
  • Communicate with and leverage the support of the Fujifilm OD Product, Marketing and Service teams in support of strengthening the Fujifilm presence in the national account marketplace.
  • Collaborate closely with the international product development team, providing customer feedback and insights to guide the development of new products and improvements to existing offerings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Broadcast and Cinema industry, including technical specifications and customer use cases, to effectively articulate the value of the company's products.
  • Sales Strategy and Market Expansion:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, enhancing existing sales channels or establishing new ones.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, applying this information to tailor sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics through strategic planning and execution.
  • This role will be responsible for the sale and support of the broadcast lens products as well as the cinema camera and lens products within the identified National Accounts.

Sales Operations and Performance Analysis:

  • Manage the preparation and processing of quotations and purchase orders.  Maintain current forecast of the National Account projects and opportunities.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of Demo/loaner equipment, ensuring integrity in the customer database and adherence to pricing and discount policies.
  • Track and maintain the input of key customers and projects in the CRM tools.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for management, providing regular updates on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Coordinate and provide exceptional training and support to customers on the use and maintenance of products, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support the needs of the Key Account customers in all aspects of their business as it relates to their broadcast lenses.
  • Maintain robust relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring all commitments are met fully and on time.
  • Attend to customer on site at events providing input, support and building key relationships with the National Accounts.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network with existing and potential customers, promote the company's products, and stay updated on industry trends.

Training and Team Development:

  • Take advantage of opportunities for learning, to enhance their ability to service the customers needs and build strong relationships.

Administrative and Compliance Duties:

  • Administer and execute on site product demonstrations and training.
  • Assist in preparing for trade shows, exhibits, and other promotional events both locally and internationally upon request.
  • Prepare and present updates on the state of the national account activities and progress of the Fujifilm goals.
  • Facilitate the creation of marketing collateral and manage various reporting needs for headquarters.
  • Adhere to all travel and compliance policies as defined by FUJIFILM North America Corporation.

This role requires an individual who can effectively balance strategic sales planning with hands-on operational tasks, driving the success of the Optical Devices Division in a competitive market.

Required Skills/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the sports/broadcast industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of technical specifications, features, and use cases of broadcast and cinema equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales management tools.
  • Availability to travel at least 50% to attend Customer locations, industry conferences and trade shows, in the United States and internationally upon request
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives.
  • High level of professionalism, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Salary and Benefits:

 

$110,000 base plus commission/KPI Bonus, depending on experience
