  • Critical Power: Supporting data centers and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications.
  • Reserve Power: Serving telecom and CATV base stations, as well as outside-plant sites.
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): Focusing on utility-scale and commercial & industrial solutions.
Job Summary:The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lithium battery systems used in data centers and energy storage applications. This role involves both field and customer-facing work, supporting reliable system performance and ensuring high-quality service delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Startup & Commissioning:
    • Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of lithium battery systems for data center and/or energy storage applications.
    • Verify system configuration, connections, and operational readiness.
    • Execute functional testing and ensure systems meet performance requirements.
  • Maintenance & Service:
    • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on battery systems and associated equipment.
    • Inspect, diagnose, and service system components to ensure long-term reliability.
    • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair:
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field.
    • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Support repair or replacement of system components as needed.
  • Customer Support:
    • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
    • Communicate findings, system status, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
    • Represent the company during service visits and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, operations, and other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery.
