Position Summary
Acrisure Arena is seeking a motivated Account Executive, Ticket Sales to support ticket sales and revenue generation efforts for the Coachella Valley Lakers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. This role is responsible for driving new business through outbound sales efforts, developing relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service to fans and partners.
The Account Executive will focus on selling season tickets, group packages, and premium seating while contributing to overall revenue goals for the Coachella Valley Lakers. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can generate new business through outbound calls, prompt responses to inbound calls, and support fan engagement initiatives tied to the team's growth in the Coachella Valley.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $25.84 to $28.84 and is commission eligible.
Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).

The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The team will play a vital role in connecting with local fans, supporting regional development, and enhancing the overall sports scene in the desert. Fueled by Coachella Valley's energy, talent, and love for sports, the Coachella Valley Lakers are perfectly positioned to amplify the next chapter of professional sports and the continued pursuit of entertainment in the region.
Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue for the Coachella Valley Lakers using all sales methods, including cold calls, face-to-face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.
  • Manage accounts in order to exceed established sales goals tied to NBA G League revenue objectives.
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound sales calls daily to generate new business and drive ticket revenue.
  • Aggressively prospect new leads to build relationships with fans, businesses, and community partners within the Coachella Valley.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales presentations promoting Coachella Valley Lakers ticket packages, group experiences, and premium offerings.
  • Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all inbound & outbound customer communication-phone calls, emails, mail, etc.
  • Work all home games and team events to support Coachella Valley Lakers sales initiatives and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in department-wide sales campaigns and promotional initiatives aligned with G League organizational goals.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and activity requirements.
  • Represent the Coachella Valley Lakers at Acrisure Arena in a professional manner at all times.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, partnerships, and community relations, to support overall business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in sports, hospitality, or entertainment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences across the Coachella Valley market.
  • Demonstrates ability to generate revenue and build client relationships in a fast-paced, results-driven setting.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to represent the Coachella Valley Lakers brand.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and competitive drive.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based sales environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to work all home games and team events.
