Job description

This position is located at ID-Western Hemisphere Command, Fort Bragg, NC.
PCS Costs and Incentives

Army NAF paysetting rules apply to this vacancy.Qualifications:Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Managerial or supervisory work experience of the caliber described above that demonstrates comprehensive analytical skills and acquired formal training in financial analysis and financial management systems.
  • The work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
  • Must possess good oral communication and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively and present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences.
  • Knowledge of standard office software such as word processing, graphics presentation, spreadsheet and e-mail.
  • Preferred are those candidates that process 4 years experience in MWR operations and / or financial management programs that provided a general knowledge of overall MWR operations and operational experience in hospitality operations, financial analysis, and budget operations.
  • A Graduate degree in finance, accounting, or business is also preferred, however; adequate training and experience can be an acceptable substitute.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Possess at least 3 years of leadership experience in MWR Business Operations with demonstrated success in financial management, operational performance, and human capital management.
  • Possess experience overseeing operations such as bowling, golf, food and beverage, bingo, or other Category B and C Community Recreation programs.
  • Possess applicable training or certifications related to MWR Business Operations.
  • Possess experience managing multiple programs simultaneously within a large, complex MWR organization.
