Project Manager | Power Delivery | Western US | $140K-$180K


Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major power delivery projects across the Western United States. The role will focus on the successful delivery of substation and transmission line projects, managing project performance, client relationships, budgets and schedules. Salt Lake City-based candidates will work from the local office, with remote options available for candidates elsewhere in the Western region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead substation and/or transmission projects from award through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, contracts and overall performance.
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, subcontractors, vendors and clients.
  • Monitor project financials, forecasting, change orders and risk.
  • Lead project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to contractual requirements.


Key Experience:

  • Proven Project Management experience within the power/utility industry.
  • Direct experience delivering substation and/or transmission line projects.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Civil or Electrical Engineering backgrounds preferred.
  • Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules and client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
