OVO Sound is looking for a Marketing Assistantย  to join their team. The candidate will assist in spearheading marketing initiatives across the OVO Sound roster and the label itself. The label is made up ofย  a close-knitย  team of people who are passionate about culture, entertainment, music and most importantly, the artists signed to the label. At times, you may be asked to perform duties that are not within the direct scope provided here. This ensures that your voice on the team is taken into consideration and implemented as we perform daily tasks as a label to help grow our artists.

Whatย you'llย do:

  • Support marketing rollouts for album and single releases, assisting in execution of artist campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
  • Contribute creative ideas for promotional campaigns and content development
  • Track streaming performance and campaign KPIs; provide insights to optimize results
  • Conduct market research on audience trends, competitors, and industry landscape
  • Coordinate with artists and their teams to manage approvals and ensure campaign alignment
  • Assist in managing campaign workflows, resources, and timelines
  • Organize promotional assets, press materials, and maintain key contact databases
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendar/expenses for VP of Marketing
  • Coordinate meetings for Marketing Team and maintain Artist/Label calendars
  • Organize and pay out invoices and PO's with approval from accountingย 
  • Support post-campaign analysis and reporting on performance outcomes
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Serve as a key on-the-ground contact for artist and campaign needs


Whoย youย are:

  • Possess a strong work ethic; strong organization skills and focused attention to detail with a sense of urgency
  • Great communication, oral and written skills are a must
  • Be proactive, passionate and driven to learn about all aspects of the music industry
  • Previous experience working in the music industry
  • Experience using industry tools such as Nielsen Music Connect, Mediabase, etc. is preferred
  • Strong Computer Skills - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
