Job Description:
The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for pulling customer orders from stocking locations, preparing packages for parcel shipment, and building pallets for LTL shipments. You will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
  2. Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory reconciliation efforts.
  3. Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for quality and accuracy. Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Properly label shelves, aisles, and storage locations to facilitate easy retrieval of products.
  5. Shipping and Receiving: Assist in loading and unloading trucks using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner and comply with all shipping regulations.
  6. Documentation: Accurately complete shipping and receiving documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Keep detailed records of inventory movements and transactions.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and customer service representatives to meet departmental goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the fulfillment process.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Load and unload trucks/containers
  2. Operate stock picker at heights up to 25 feet
  3. Ability to learn to drive a forklift
  4. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs routinely
  5. Ability to stand continuously for 8 hours
